Close to 60 women joined us for a special Mother’s Day at our Women Empowerment Forum. We are delighted to also note that it was the first event supported by MCYS, allowing us the opportunity to invite women in challenging situations.
We were honoured to have two special ladies come share their experiences.Joyce, who had stopped full time employment for over 20 years, started a business dealing in corporate gifts and has found a balance as she ramps up/down activities according to her family’s needs. Caron was in the IT sector for over 20 years and was Director at an IT MNC for many years. She took a break when her youngest son was in primary school. After a few years of serving as a school / community volunteer, she decided to explore Real Estate. She is now a top performer in the company enjoying the flexibility of the work that allow her to continue to enjoy work-life success.
